I've always wondered

I've always wondered how babies fell asleep in the jumperoo, on the floor, in a highchair, etc. Well, I saw first-hand today during lunch. I was busy removing the crust from a nugget for Addy & when I looked up this is what I found:

My sweet little baby was so tired & I never saw any of the cues she normally shows when she's sleepy!

I will do better, I will do better

Swim class is over now :( It was so much fun & a great activity for us to do together.

We just returned from KJ's wedding in Austin. It was a wonderful time & the wedding was perfect. Addison was great at the dinner & was the star of the show :) Everyone loved her! At the wedding, however, once she saw me walk down the aisle she was ready to get to mommy! Blake had to take her out of the ceremony. I won't post any pictures of the bride until she returns from the honeymoon & says it's okay. Here are a couple of other pics:

These pictures were taken after we got home yesterday. She loves to put things in the tea pitcher. Who knew it would make such a great toy!



Addy enjoyed her pancakes this morning. Some days she eats all day & others she just nibbles. Her favorite foods right now are chicken nuggets, sweet potatoes, steamed carrots, yogurt, nilla wafers, goldfish, bagel bites, diced apples, diced pears & bananas.


I'm in the market for a new laptop now. My 2 year-old Toshiba gave me the BSOD last week. This time I'll probably get the MacBook since that's what all the cool kids are getting :)

Swim Class

Addy went under water twice today during swim class! I was so nervous the first time, but when I brought her back up she was fine (gave me a 'look', but was fine). I've got to get this on video!

Why will my baby eat McDonald's nuggets, but NOT Tyson??? Seriously, she snubbed the Tyson nuggets I made for her yesterday. We got McDonald's today & she ate all 4 nuggets!

First Swim Class

Today was Addy's first swim class! She had a great time splashing in the water! It must have worn her out because she fell asleep on the way home. Can't wait to do it again tomorrow. Addison's new game is to put anything over her head/face & walk around! It's a dangerous game, but we can't get her to STOP! Here is a video from last night:

She thinks 'no' is hilarious

Addison has started laughing at us when we tell her 'no'! She puts her foot in the Buddy's water bowl, stands in her PBK Anywhere Chair, stands in the bathtub, runs the other way when it's time for diaper change, throws food from the highchair, feeds Buddy her snacks....and laughs the whole time we are saying 'no' & trying to redirect her attention or show her the 'correct' way to do something. It's hard to keep a straight face sometimes :)

Today she had McDonald's chicken nuggets for the first time. I removed all the crust & gave them to her. She loved them! Since she hasn't been eating much lately, I was willing to try anything!

This morning after we brushed our teeth I told her it was time to do laundry & she went to the laundry room! It would be nice if she could actually assist with the laundry instead of running off with clothes. She also closes the dryer door everytime I open it, so it will probably wear out before the dryer itself.

Right now, we are in the midst of getting estimates on house repairs that our buyers have requested. It's such a pain since we are so far away! Luckily, our realtor is awesome & has good contacts that work with her clients regularly. I am SO ready to stop paying Chase every month!
