Petting Zoo & Golf

Yesterday we went to the petting zoo & Addison didn't enjoy it at all.  She didn't want anything to do with the camel, zebra, pony, cow, kangaroo, sheep or goat.  I really thought she would love the animals, but not so much.  Maybe in a couple of months she will be ready to try another visit.

Paradise Water Park

Addison had her first trip to a water park today!  She LOVED it & had so much fun.  We floated in the lazy river, Blake took a ride on both of the big water slides and Addison enjoyed the splash area for children.

Yahoo!

I'm on the verge of being done with my Yahoo! email account. They did an upgrade a couple of months ago & now it NEVER works right! It's making me crazy!

We got another offer on our house today. Unfortunately, it was a low-ball cash offer! We countered, but don't expect it to be accepted. If we don't close with our currect buyers we may look into the option of leasing to them until the closing.


I finally made it to my hair appointment today. It was LONG overdue! A few layers & highlights later & tada :)

Teeth

Addy has 2 new teeth! Her lower lateral incisors have erupted & now she has 8 teeth total!








Yesterday, I went to our local library looking for 3 books. They didn't have anything I wanted. So, I got online to check other libraries in the area & they charge $25 per year for a library card if you don't live in their town! Guess I'll be ordering my books from Amazon!

Time to catch up

We made it back home after our trip to the lake & home for a week. The lake was so much fun. It was awesome to see everyone & relax. We should do it more often! The babies had a good time too. I'm so glad that I got the Summer Infant Video Monitor. We got a ton of use out of it while we were away.

While in Monroe we were able to see Avery & Casey for a quick visit. Hopefully next trip we can visit longer.

Update on the house... We've been waiting since May to close. Every month NACA asks for an extension for one reason or another. The latest is that we are supposed to close Wednesday. Well, that isn't possible since the paperwork has to be overnighted to us, signed & notarized, then overnighted back to the title company. Who knew it would be so hard to sell a house when it was SO easy to buy one! We wait...

Ewww...Runny nose

Well, Addison has a cold right now. This is only the 2nd cold she has ever had, so I'm still trying to figure out all the little tricks that will help her feel better. Nilla Wafers & chicken nuggets work really well :) There needs to be a cold medicine for babies!
