Well, Blake is a happy man!  Duke beat Baylor & is headed to the Final Four.  A weekend of LIVE basketball is WAY better than a weekend of TV basketball!

Play Date

FINALLY!!!  We were able to spend some time with Parker & Avery this trip!  Johnny's Pizza, Dora & toys = 4 happy babies (Logan joined in on the fun too)!

When it came to picture time Addison & Logan didn't want any part of it, but Parker & Avery would have sat on the couch all day!  I think they hit it off well & there may have been a little spark between them!

23 weeks & naps

I'm not sure how I'm going to look in 16ish weeks!  My belly already feels like it's going to rip open at any minute no matter how much oil, cream, lotion, etc I put on it!  Clothes I was wearing at this time of my pregnancy with Addison, no longer fit.  BIG BELLY hopefully doesn't mean BIG BABY!

We don't have a pack'n play at my dad's house, so Addy always sleeps in the bed with me.  The other day at naptime I was going to lay down with her & nap too, but she pushed me away.  So, I got the monitor & left the room just to see what she would do.  Well, that little girl went to sleep in the BIG bed & never once tried to get down!  She just didn't want me in there!  Maybe the transition to the toddler bed will be easier than I thought.  Not that we are in a hurry or anything, but it's nice to know that she is capable of staying in the bed & going to sleep. 

Now I know why....

parents give kids suckers!  Our neighbor gave Addison a sucker & she was quiet for a SOLID 15-20 minutes!  She didn't care what was going on around her as long as she had that sucker!  Next trip to Sam's I may have to see about buying suckers in bulk!  LOL!  Just kidding.  I didn't really want her to have it in the first place, but....all the other kids are doing it :)

Trip to Louisiana

Addy had her sunglasses on & was ready to ride!  She doesn't go anywhere without the glasses!

Last weekend we had a small gathering in Louisiana.  It was a great time with family, fun & crawfish.  Some out-of-town family got to see Addison for the first time ever!  The weather was perfect Saturday & the cold, rainy mess held off until Sunday.  THEN IT SNOWED!  Yes, snow in Louisiana on March 21, 2010!

A Day at the Park

Yesterday was such a beautiful day & finally warm enough for a trip to the park!  Whew!  Instead of me wearing Addison out, she wore me out!  Right now, I have to pick her up & sit her halfway up the slide then hurry back to the bottom to catch her.  Yeah, that won't be happening again!  Blake & I will have to take her next time & teach her how to climb up the fort then come down the slide.  I can't be in both places at one time!  She LOVES to slide & made a BIG scene when it was time to leave.  I've always seen other kids do that, but not MY kid :)  LOL

AMNIO RESULTS ARE NORMAL....

AND SHE IS STILL A GIRL!  The OBs office drives me crazy!  I made my daily call this morning to see if the results were in & got the run around as usual.   After being on hold the nurse comes back to tell me 'Oh, here they are!  Must've come in this morning with the mail'!  UGH!  It's such a relief that everything is okay, so I'm not going to dwell on the douchebags at the OBs office (for today anyway)!

Panties & Diapers

This morning Addy & I went shopping for some 'big' girl panties (for her, not me)!  We found this great variety pack that has some of her favorite friends!  Dora & Wonder Pets!

After wearing the panties for a few minutes & having an accident on the floor & on her shoes she WON'T keep her diaper on at all!!!  So, I've resorted to putting the diaper on backwards!  If she figures out how to get it off now, I guess duct tape will be next!

Festival Fun

Today we visited a local heritage festival for some fun & food!  The weather was beautiful & we all had a great time!  I wanted Blake to take Addy down the big slide, BUT, he didn't want to walk up all of the steps to get to the TOP!  Seriously!  Shame on him :)  I would have, but I highly doubt my OB wants me on a slide at the fair!

Addison really enjoyed the Petting Zoo this time.  I guess she was just too young when we took her last year.  

Hey little piggy

Have I mentioned that I'm sick of taking pills?  I've been taking 4 antibiotics each day along with 2 prenatal vitamins!  Thank goodness tomorrow is the last day for the antibiotics!  UGH :(  Hope this nasty  sinus mess is gone for good (or at least until after the baby is born).

Oh, yeah, the baby!  Our baby girl still doesn't have a name.  Blake & I are discussing a few & think we've narrowed it down to about 5.  It's much harder this time around!  When we chose Addison Claire there was never any question or doubt.  Maybe we should just name her Eric Connor since that has always been our choice for a boy name!

One-hour Glucose Test & Sandals

Tuesday morning I had to go in for the one-hour glucose test.  Now they have a new drink flavor instead of the nasty lemon-lime  that I had with Addison.  It was Fruit Punch & not too bad at all.

I PASSED THE ONE-HOUR TEST!!!!  NO three-hour test for me this time!

Today is 2 weeks since the amnio & the results should be here by now!  Ugh!  If it was the glucose test results taking this long, I wouldn't mind so much.  I asked the nurse about it on Tuesday & she said that since Friday will be 2 weeks, my chart will be flagged & they will start contacting the lab for the results.  She also said that usually when it takes this long then everything is fine & it's good news.

The weather is starting to warm up & I wasn't prepared!  I washed up all of her new Spring/Summer clothes, but didn't think about new shoes!  Her black dress shoes didn't look very good with the pink/brown outfit she was wearing.  So, off we go to the store for some new sandals!

Since I had to pick up a few things at Walmart we also looked at sandals there.  I wasn't impressed with ANYTHING there, so settled on a pair of $3 pink sandals to hold us over until we can do some serious shoe shopping!
