This morning I had another dr appt. I took Addy to a different MDO as a drop-in, since our MDO only has class on Wednesday & Friday. Luckily, the same people work at this other church on Tuesday & Thursday for MDO. At Addison's MDO there are 5 girls & 1 boy, but at the one today there were FIVE boys & she was the only little princess! So, I dropped her off at 9 (my appt was 9:15) with milk, water & a snack. I figured that the appt wouldn't take long & I would be picking her up before lunch at 11.
When I get to the office & called to the back for a weigh-in, BP check, etc the nurse tells me that I will be getting another ultrasound today for a more accurate measurement of baby. I was excited to see baby again, but sad that Blake wasn't there. I had no idea there would be another ultrasound today! UGH! Anyway, back to the waiting room I go to wait for the ultrasound room to become available. At this point there is a FULL house! Tick Tock Tick Tock.... 10:30 rolls around & I'm starting to stress about Addy not having lunch. I called my neighbor, but she was out of the area & wouldn't be back in time to take Addy lunch. So, Blake had to leave work & take her a Happy Meal. Times like this it really stinks not to have family close by :( Boohoohoo Finally, about 11:20 it's MY turn!
The baby is doing great & measuring a little ahead. My due date was moved from 7/17 to 7/11, but I'm just going to say that we will have a baby in July! Baby was moving around & stretching during the ultrasound! Just like Addison, this baby is all about snuggling with the placenta! LOL! I've only gained one pound since my appt a month ago. By this time with Addison, I had gained TEN pounds! Maybe I won't put on 50 this time around.
These pics were taken with my cell from the pictures from the dr. They aren't great, but if you look closely in the first one baby is waving at us & the second one is of the full body.
Addison did great hanging out with all those boys this morning. When I finally made it to pick her up, they were all getting ready for nap time & ALL the boys were crying in their cribs. Addison was just standing in her crib leaning on the rail looking at them like they were crazy! As soon as she saw me she smiled & said 'mama' then reached for me. She didn't waste any time going down for a nap when we got home & slept for 2 1/2 hours. I was able to catch some zzz's too.
